Bar Manager. Permanent/Full Time. A thriving local pub in Kildare are seeking applications for Bar Manager with at least 3 years’ experience. Bar Manager Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure bar space follows all licensing requirements and health and safety guidelines. Create bartender and employee schedules. Mix drinks, pour and serve wine, beer, and other beverages as needed. Recruit, train, and supervise new bar staff. Be responsible for maintaining stock levels and order supplies. Address customer inquiries and complaints. Handle complaints, conflicts, questions, and suggestions from employees. Keep relevant statistical and financial records. Bar Manager Requirements and Qualifications: 2-3 years relevant work experience. Enthusiastic and Love working in the industry. Ability to work independently, as well as lead, manage, and motivate a team. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and stay cool under pressure. Proven track record of providing excellent customer service, well presented with an excellent manner and friendly personality. Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to carry 25 or more pounds of supplies. The owners will have a transition period for induction and hand over of complete operational responsibility with weekly, monthly and quarterly operations and performance reporting and finance reviews.
