Responsibilities of the role: Participation in the technical transfer of new products and processes. Ensure strict adherence to site policies/procedures, cGMP/GLP and environmental, health and safety regulations. Ensure area of responsibility is maintained in a constant state of compliance and audit readiness in line with current regulations, PQS, and business needs. All related procedures and documentation are maintained accordingly. Safety and housekeeping considerations. Execute responsibilities in line with Right First Time principles. Ensure resolution of and/or appropriate escalation of issues. Demonstrating company values and competencies. Ensure that all department metrics are adhered to. Provide subject matter expertise and support for systems, technologies and products. Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities and progress Continuous Improvement projects. Participate in decision making in consultation with relevant stakeholders. Support the introduction of new products. Training, knowledge transfer and coaching of process teams to support scientific resolution of process issues. Recognized as having a high level of knowledge/skill in solid dosage manufacturing. Education and experience required: Degree in Science, Pharmacy or a related discipline. Experience in a solid oral dose manufacturing environment essential. 5 years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of cGMP, safety and regulatory requirements for the industry. Knowledge of unit processes, products characteristics and processing equipment for pharma products. Six sigma – Green belt desirable; Method 1 training minimum requirement.
