Description: Data Integrity - Junior Automation Engineer (5+ years exp. Department:Engineering. Position Reports to: Site Automation Lead. Duties / Responsibilities. As the data integrity (DI) automation engineer, you will be solution-focused on the development of new process and procedure to enhance the data integrity of the sites process automation systems. In this role you will be expected to implement system changes and/or to develop risk assessments and procedural controls to management residual DI risks. You should have a strong understanding of technologies for: user account management, systems configuration management, system disaster recovery and data archival and backup’s. You shall have experience of developing standardised procedural controls across multiple systems. You will be service orientated, delivery focused and have the ability to build rapport with key members of the operations and engineering teams. You will support site automation team as the Data integrity subject matter expert and manage the sites DI activities for the facility. Experience Required: Support the sites Data Integrity enhancements for process automation systems. Participate in the development of systems life cycle documents (Validation Plan, remediation plans, risk assessments, standard operating procedures, biannual and periodic reviews. Must be focused and passionate about production systems. Solution focused, with in-depth technical knowledge of both procedural controls and system controls for managing data Integrity. Implement system changes under site change management. Provide technical support to partners within Engineering and Operations. We are looking for Engineers with the following experience:- Experienced in computer systems validation. Strong influencing ability across team boundaries. Experience of supporting DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI and PC controlled systems in a GMP manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of maintaining databases. Familiarity IT technologies is desirable, including server administration, Desktops, Cloud provisioning (XAAS), and Infrastructure virtualization, backup and recovery. Knowledge of discrete and batch process equipment. Qualification: Appropriate Engineering/Computer Science Qualification (B.Sc. B.E. Degree. Strong knowledge of the GAMP guidelines applicable to computer system validation. Five years experience in industry, preferably in a pharmaceutical or relevant GMP manufacturing environment. Experience supporting DCS, PLC, SCADA and HMI systems in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated Problem solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
