Electronic Equipment Engineers (Semiconductor. 18 months-2 years' contract duration. (Shift and location flexibility required. Our client seeks Equipment Engineers to support client manufacturing facilities in Ireland and throughout Europe/Middle East. Reporting to the European Service Manager, your key responsibility will be to oversee installation, maintenance, sustaining and troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. No previous experience is necessary, successful candidates will be trained in Ireland for approximately 6 months, and it is then expected that they will be posted on assignment for 12 months or more (most likely to Israel). Electrical or Electronics Degree or Qualification desired Role and Responsibilities: Responsible to comply strictly with all safety procedures, protocols and standards, ensure correct PPE is worn at all times. Perform mechanical install and setup of equipment at customer sites. Perform all safety checks prior to equipment start up. Perform hardware/software modifications and upgrades and participate in equipment start-ups. Post start-up checks and tool assembly. Complete and understand all interlocks. Maintain records and follow install procedures, technical bulletins and review ECN’s. Ability to understand customer process and assume responsibility for customer satisfaction. Interface with the customer in resolving all issues relating to equipment in a prompt and professional manner, escalate to IQ Supervisor, or other personnel if assistance is needed. Perform all de-install procedures, paying particular attention to safety, packing and inventory. Work within company's and the customer’s safety and protocol regulations. Identify gaps in training and work with your supervisor to improve your skills. Co-operate with all mandatory training. Complete all documentation, paperwork, as required to complete the task. It is essential that interested applicants can demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team, have good communication and interpersonal skills, along with a high degree of flexibility to meet business needs. Applicants will be required to travel/work overseas as required from time to time. Additionally applicants may be required to work shift as dictated by client requirements.
