Matrix Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for a EHS Coordinator to be based in Athy with our client a Leading Manufacturing company that manufacture a wide variety of concentrate products for Commercial product supply. This is a 9 month contract position. Key Duties: Knowledge of all relevant Safety & Environmental legislation, nationally and within the EU. ISO 18001 Compliant. Maintain and develop the site Safety Report. Coordinate the site HAZOP Programme. Conduct internal EHS audits according to schedule. Implement relevant Corporate EHS Standards. Review and revise EHS SOPs and forms. Co-ordinate accident and incident investigations. Review and approve accident/incident investigations. Co-ordinate root cause analysis (RCA. Design and deliver EHS training programmes. Monitor and review the site permit (to work) system. Assist the Occupational Health Dept with the site Occupational Health Programme. Assist with the co-ordination and delivery of EHS promotional activities. Compile the site AER and quarterly EPA reports. Deputise for EHS Manager when required. Operational Excellence activities for Continuous improvements. Develop the Employee Health & Wellbeing programme. Candidates Experience: Diploma/Degree in relevant Environmental, Health & Safety discipline. Secondary qualification in EHS highly desirable. 5 – 7 years in a relevant industrial experience in a SEVESO II site. Experience in an Upper Tier Site a distinct advantage.
