Our client, a leading supplier of products, systems and services to the Irish water industry, seeks to employ a Site Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing all necessary on-the-ground resources through the entire project from start-up through closeout, and for ensuring that both the client's expectations and budgetary guidelines are met. This involves: • Management of programme as per the project plan from beginning to end including unexpected events, site general performance, and overall progress against plan; • Managing onsite subcontractors and vendors to assist them in working to the project schedule; • Review plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate. • Ensuring materials used are as specified. • Overseeing quality control measures on the site. • Responsibility for adherence to site health and safety standards on site. • Responsibility for maintaining all site records including health and safety records for full life of project. • Regularly updating Project Manager on project progress and be prepared to escalate issues when appropriate. • Representing business on site to the client(s), consultants, government authorities, vendors and subcontractors; and. • Create method statements, work orders and permits as appropriate.
