Construction Director. Kildare / Meath area. Executive €Neg + bonus/shares+transport+pension etc. Our client is a highly reputable and solid medium sized main contractor (Building) established over 40yrs ago, who traded well throughout the recession, concentrating on a number of government contracts. Now, with a shift in the senior management structure, and as they are looking to expand their operations, they have a requirement for a highly experienced Construction Director to join their senior management team. They work on a nice mix of residential, industrial, commercial and educational projects up to €20m currently, mostly in Dublin, but are looking to break into larger projects with new and existing clients. This position could suit a Senior Contracts Manager / Associate Director with a civil engineering qualification, who is with a Tier 1 contractor but is looking to break into a full directorship role with a company, where he will be the No.1 senior director beside the company MD. It could also suit a Construction Director with another medium sized company, who is looking for more responsibility as you will be involved in the strategic operations and direction of the company. You will also be involved in some business development and client liasion, and overseeing multiple projects with the Contracts Managers reporting in to you etc. Experience at a senior level in either Ireland or the UK would be preferrable rather than further overseas. This is a position which rarely arises with a well established contractor, and so represents an excellent opportunity for a senior, driven and ambitious individual to take a step up in their career.
