Instrumentation Technician - County Kildare. Job Summary. An excellent opportunity has arisen in one of Ireland's leading instrumentation suppliers and service providers for an Instrumentation Technician who is electrically qualified or competent. Based in County Kildare and reporting to the Service Manager, you will be joining a highly experienced service team providing professional services (Calibration/Validation/Service) both in-house and field based throughout the country. The client base is extensive. This is a permanent position with opportunities for further promotion within an expanding company. Interested applicants will ideally be living in the Midlands or surrounding areas of Ireland (e.g. Wicklow, Kildare, Laois, Carlow. The position will be mainly based "on the road". Desirable to have experience in or general understanding of : • Chemical dosing or treatment/monitoring in water such as Chlorine/ PH, soda ash, aluminium. • Understanding of flow meters and general principles of operation. • A high level of IT skills. • Flexibility as some work will be in-house and some site based. • Be a team player with a friendly and outgoing disposition. • Be a punctual, motivated and organised self-starter who is enthusiastic and conscientious about completing work on time and to a high standard. • Demonstrate a positive approach to work and be able to work well unsupervised on own initiative and as part of a team. • Full clean driving licence. This role is mixed between some electrical work, calibration work, and also service, repair and commissioning of analytical telemetry equipment.
