OE Lead - Operational Excellence. Kildare. Euro Executive Recruitment has been retained by a client to recruit for the role of OE (Operational Excellence) Leadto be based in Co. Kildare. The Client. Our client is one of the worlds` leading pharmaceutical manufacturers. The Role: As a dynamic and energetic core member of the Operational Excellence team, this person will be implementing and managing the roll out of the Operational Excellence Program. This will involve achieving very aggressive goals and putting the systems in place to meet the goals, in addition to providing the guidance for project leaders to meet deliverables. Responsibilities center around deploying Standard Work, Asset Care, 5S and managing and leading the Quality Improvement Program. Additional responsibilities include mentoring lean candidates, running process improvement projects and assisting in training. Responsibilities: Experience in developing and managing a Lean Program with demonstrated results. Leads improvement projects of significant size and scope. Mentor candidates and champions in selecting projects and initiatives that align with site/functional goals and strategies. Ensures project tracking dashboard is maintained and results are communicated monthly via Hoshin system. Builds relationships and works with key CI leaders across the site in a matrix structure. Manages the coordination and development of the organization’s Operational Excellence deployment plan. Assists leadership in establishing baseline and target metrics for key processes. Works with leadership in installing organizational supports for Operational Excellence (reviews, communications, rewards, software, etc.) Coaches and mentors Method 2, 3 and 4 (yellow/green/black belt six sigma and lean) candidates to ensure timely completion of their projects- leading to candidates’ certification. This includes following the rigor of the organisations standards and recording write ups on the iNexus system. Requirements: Bachelor`s degree required in Business Management, Science, Engineering, or other related field of study. Certified Lean and Six Sigma Black Belt, with solid experience of business operations and/or plant manufacturing or engineering experience, which includes experience of demonstrated process improvement success. Solid past performance as a project manager. Strong analytical/statistical problem solving tools. Broad business knowledge and ability to link customer needs with business processes. Strong Coaching and Facilitation skills. Excellent oral/written communication skills and platform skills. An understanding of and proficiency in Change Management. Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MiniTab. Experience managing a multi stage deployment program for a large organization. Experience leading and facilitating Kaizen events in fast paced manufacturing environment. Experience in Standard Work, Asset Care/TPM, 5S, SMED, Visual Management and value stream mapping.
