Working with the LotusWorks team as an a Senior Electrical Technician you will initially be involved in the implementation of the electrical upgrade of a Waste Water treatment plant for a Bio Pharma unit, working closely with the associated vendors to gain knowledge on the system. Your Responsibilities: Project support to assure safety design of electrical systems in compliance with regulatory codes, corporate technical standards and industry practices. Such as: ECTI, Involved in reliability studies for electrical assets overseeing collection, reporting and analysis of reliability metrics. Responsible for organising repairs, vendors, requesting spares with help and support from a dedicated client engineer and wider site team. Engages site stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce life-cycle costs as part of electrical asset plan to ensure sustainment of critical assets. Provides technical support and guidance in electrical systems repairs including low, medium, and high voltage power distribution systems, lighting, heating, motor repair, motor controls, power cables, electrostatic precipitators, variable speed drives and other electrical systems necessary for efficient and safe operations. Provides technical guidance and direction on electrical-related matters such as, but not limited to: electrical safety, isolation of energy, safe working practices. Document daily operational activities. Requirements: Qualified Electrical Technician with Further Education and Training Awards Council “FETAC”, or equivalent. At least 5 years of experience in either the construction, operations or maintenance fields or any combination thereof. Medium Voltage experience and certification. Utilities experience. MV Switching experience preferred but not essential. Instrumentation experience preferred but not essential. Benefits. Life Assurance. Pension Contribution.
