Transport Planner- Co. Kildare. Overview. You will be responsible for the management of all transport planning activities through SAP from plant to point of delivery to ensure business and customer needs are being met. Responsibilities. Key responsibilities of the role are summarized below eds : •Create deliveries in SAP based on goods-issue dates, allocating stock/batches to deliveries, and checking that all details are in order for orders to be dispatched. This will involve working cross functionally i.e. QC department and Production. •Key contact with approved logistics providers, contacting to arrange pick-up of materials and ensuring timely delivery to the customer location as per agreed terms. •Attend operational meetings to highlight and resolve any issues impacting on the timely dispatch of materials. •Planning deliveries based on warehouse inbound / outbound flows ensuring deliveries due to dispatch are within capacity. •Management of demurrage charges and creation of monthly PO’s for our logistics providers ensuring a smooth invoicing procedure. •Creation of shipment cost documents. •Maintain KPI’s on freight providers used, linking with the freight buyer to keep service levels at a high level for the business. •Maintenance of shipping master data in SAP. •Inputting of POD’s into the system on a weekly basis. •Fluent French & English is essential for this role. •Experience with ERP system, SAP experience is an advantage. •Relevant supply chain/logistics qualification. • 2+ Years Professional experience.
