Manager- Popular North Kildare Restaurant. Salary 26-30K DOE. We are seeking a Manager that will oversee all the day to day operations of the Restaurant/Café in North Kildare. This role will involve working Monday - Friday with hours of 8-5, although some flexibility will be necessary. The Role. Reporting directly to the Owner, the successful candidate must contribute to the development of the company's vision and strategy and to undertake the day to day operating and running of this café as their own business unit. The role involves ensuring that the restaurant delivers a consistently high standard of guest service while achieving business objectives, selecting and agreeing menu's with the chefs and building and maintaining excellent client relationships. You will oversee a team, while encouraging, training, and instilling &upselling. This is a people person's role where you will become the name to the place. You need to be highly organised, firm but fair personality and have previous experience in management. The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: - Previous experience in a similar role in a high street/branded/ café / restaurant. - Extensive food and beverage experience. - Previously held a departmental food and beverage management role. - Ability to drive excellent customer care. - Knowledge and experience of rosters and budgets while maintaining agreed labour % - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Credit & Cash Handling/ Till Balancing/ Reporting. - Purchasing, Stock Taking, Revenue Reports. - Marketing, Advertising, Social Media and able 'to think outside the box' - The successful candidate will enjoy a friendly and challenging role in a progressive and professional company, and a generous remuneration and benefits are available to the successful candidate.
